Park your vehicle in the church car park.
(S) Go behind the church, walk along the cemetery, turn right onto the tarmac road and go downhill to cross the Pont des Statues bridge about 700 metres away.
(1) Go up to the left on the forest track to the houses of Gallais, leaving the tracks on the left and right: continue straight on for 1300m (panoramic view of the hillsides).
(2) Turn left between the farms onto a stony path and continue for about 1.2km.
(3) Leave the track going down to the left and turn right into the Grand Nauve valley. Leave the tracks on the right. When you reach the edge of the forest, turn right and continue to the Audet des Landes farms.
(4) After the first house, follow the path to the left until you reach the D142.
(5) Take the road on the right for 50 metres, then turn left onto the DFCI trail no. SA19. Cross La Mane and continue straight up. Follow the tarmac road on the left, then the path on the left after the pond.
(6) At the intersection, turn left and, at the next crossroads, left again. About 200m further on, turn left again to cross the Name. Turn right at the first junction, right again at the next fork and go straight on to reach the edge of the forest. Continue for a while, following the forest on your left, then turn right towards the hamlet of Billaudeau.
(7) Turn left onto the tarmac road and cross the hamlet of Cybard. At the exit, turn right at the end of the vineyards onto a grassy path to the hamlet of La Route, then cross it, turning left. Continue to the D142.
(8) Take the D142 on the right and return to the starting point about 1 km away.
