Worth a visit

The Municipal House (Obecní dům, a venue for classical concerts, operas and ballets, which is open to visitors).

Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí), one of the most iconic places in Prague (with the Church of Our Lady before Týn , the medieval astronomical clock , the Jan Hus Memorial, etc.).

The narrow pedestrian streets lead you to Charles Bridge (Karlův most). Thisfamous bridge owes its name to its creator, Charles IV, who laid the first stone in 1357. 500 metres long, it crosses the Vltava River to connect Prague's Old Town and New Town, with 30 statues lining the bridge.

Construction of this Baroque-style church began in 1673 and was completed in 1752. It is characterised by its dome, which is 20 metres in diameter.

As you cross Kampa Park, you will pass the Kampa Museum, which houses collections of contemporary art by Czech artists as well as temporary exhibitions (worth seeing).
