Park at the Crêt de l'Œillon car park, near the large antenna.
(S/E) Take the path that climbs westwards. Reach the Col de la Botte crossroads.
(1) Continue along the path on the left, which passes by a small antenna, and continue on to Col d'Étançon, a crossroads of several paths.
(2) Take the path opposite, slightly to the left in the woods, which joins a ridge. Follow it south to reach Crêt de la Chèvre (1,427 m).
(3) Retrace your steps for 50 m and begin a descent to the left to reach a trail junction.
(4) Turn left and continue downhill to the junction with a forest path at a place called Beau Girard (1,280 m).
(5) Turn right onto this almost flat path to find theGR®7along the edge of the D8.6 road.
(6) Take it on the right to climb to Crêt de la Perdrix, the summit of the massif (1,435 m).
(7) Continue on theGR®, veering left to descend to the shepherd's hut, crossing the D8.6.
(8) Leave theGR® and turn right into the meadows heading east, cross the airfield and join a path in the forest that heads south-east and leads to Creux de Botte and then the pass you crossed on the way there.
(1) Leave the path you took on the way up on your left and climb up to the military radar station at the top of Crêt de Botte.
(9) Then take the road opposite to reach the Crêt de l'Œillon car park (S/E).
