Park in the resort’s large car park.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, set off along the small dead-end road.
(1) Leave the tarmac road and, at marker 208, take the footpath on the right.
(2) At marker 209, take the “Route des Pivoines” path on the left, which climbs north-west. Follow this path to a T-junction.
(3) At this point, take care to turn left onto a faint, unmarked 4x4 track which is difficult to spot. Follow it to reach a path junction at marker 196.
(4) Take the path on the right which descends westwards and joins the D802.
(5) At the barrier, cross the road carefully and head towards the car park opposite.
(6) Make sure you take the path on the left, which is the cross-country ski trail in winter, and continue to a junction with a cross-country trail.
(7) Head up this track to the right, then turn north-east and then south for about 200 m.
(8) Leave the track, heading due east, via a small path on the left. Join a very wide track that descends towards the resort.
You can see the artificial lake used to supply the snow cannons. Go round the ski lift stations and arrive at the large car park (S/E).
