Description of the walk

(S/E) At the start of this walk, turn left, then first turn right then left, go straight ahead and visit Saint-Cornély Church. Built in the 17th century, this building is one of the most beautiful religious monuments in Morbihan.

(1) Then walk down the alley for a few dozen metres, leaving the church on your right.

(2) Go down the left side of the church and take Rue de Colary on the left.

(3) At the crossroads, take Chemin de Ranguhan opposite, then Rue de Ranguhan on the right.

(4) Take the second path on the right. Walk alongside cultivated fields and meadows to reach the Croix de Kergouellec, a carved granite cross dating from 1854.

(5) Continue straight ahead and head towards Beaumer, passing in front of the Kergouellec pond and its fountain.

(6) Keep going and, at the end of the path, take the road on the right towards the dolmen, which is located in the heart of this ancient village.

(7) At the dolmen, turn left onto the path that runs alongside the campsite. Follow the signs for Kerfraval. At the crossroads, turn left. Then keep left and then right towards Kerfraval. Then cross the main road towards Montauban.

(8) Once in the Montauban area, turn left onto the old Roman road that leads to Cloucarnac. This ancient village has changed over the years with the construction of contemporary houses and the restoration of old farms. Here you will come across the fountain and wash house of Cloucarnac.

(9) Turn left and cross the Route de la Trinité, first turning left then right, and rejoin the Chemin Parc Belann, then return to the fork you passed on the way there.

(4) Turn right and follow the same route as on the way there to return to the church square (S/E).
