Circular walk around Rochefort from Avressieux
A lovely walk through fairly varied terrain. There is a significant proportion of tarmac roads, but there is virtually no traffic, except on the climb up the Col de Crusille. The section of path between the Grand Bec viewpoint is a little tricky; it can be avoided by heading to the Col du Banchet, then following the road to Le Banchet.

La Grande Montagne
This walk combines a variety of points of interest, starting from Les Éléphants, Chambéry’s iconic monument, before heading towards the Charmettes neighbourhood, dear to Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Further up lies the Grande Montagne, which, whilst nothing like high mountains, nevertheless offers panoramic views of distant mountain ranges.
