Description of the walk

Start: Cape Solander car park and viewing platform, Kurnell area of Kamay Botany Bay National Park.

(S/E) From the car park, walk South-West-South past the information board and viewing platform. After reading some information about the area and whales, walk to the end of the car park to follow the Cape Baily Track waymarkers South along the coastline. The path is straight forward, please keep to the boardwalks as much as you can as the cliff can be unstable.

(1) After 970m or so, reach a junction, and keep following the coastline.

(2) At the second junction with Tabbigai Gap on your left, keep straight following the lighthouse waymarkers. Walk a little bit more to get other perspectives of the sand cliffs then return the same way to the car park. (S/E)
