By car, from the Skjåkvegen road (Rv15), take the turn-off for Billingen (not the hamlet - where there is a sign for an inn), then park before the small concrete bridge.
There is also a bus stop at this junction, presumably for the VY146 bus that runs between Måløy and Oslo.
(S/E) Cross the bridge, pass the restaurant and start the path heading north. Just before a few steps, there is a sign with explanations. You will arrive at a first junction.
(1) Go up to the right towards the forest. The climb is steep, but the path is pleasant and shaded. In summer, the undergrowth is covered with blueberries, and there are explanations along the way.
(2) As soon as you leave the forest, turn left (sign) and continue across the Føysa river via a natural stone bridge. Once on the other side, follow the main path to the left, which continues uphill to a promontory with a beautiful view.
(3) From there, take one of the paths leading down to the south-west. Be careful, as the slope is steep and the path is stony.
(4) Cross the Tora river via the wooden bridge and immediately afterwards turn left (south). Follow the path along the river and ignore the road after the car park as this will not take you back to the starting point.
(5) You can then either continue along the right bank of the river and return directly to the car park, or cross the river a little further down via another wooden bridge and return to the fork in the path you took on the way there.
(1) Continue straight ahead in the opposite direction to return to the car park (S/E).
