(S/E) From the station car park, head down towards the railway bridge and take Chemin de Bourgeois, which runs alongside the railway line. At the junction with Avenue de Nivelles, turn right towards the railway bridge.
(1) After the bridge, turn left onto the small dolomite path. Continue straight on along Avenue du Pèlerin, which becomes Avenue Paola a little further on. At the end of Avenue Paola, turn left onto Avenue Marie-Christine and then turn left at the first junction towards Avenue Reine Élisabeth.
At the second junction, turn left onto Avenue Reine Fabiola and, about 15 metres further on, take the Belle-Dame path, which begins with a small flight of steps. This path leads to a small square below the railway line. Continue left towards the railway bridge.
(2) Just before the bridge, take the steps on the left. At the top of the steps, turn right and, a few steps further on, turn right again towards Rixensart station. Walk past the car park, then along the station and the railway line via Rue de la Gare until you reach a flight of steps on the left leading up to the platforms and the deck above the station.
On the platform, go up the small street which is practically opposite the stairs you took earlier, then turn left until you reach a small square.
(3) Turn right into Rixensart’s high street, Avenue de Mérode, and continue until the second street on the left.
Turn left into Avenue de Montalembert. Go round the roundabout clockwise and turn into the first street on the right, Avenue Françoise. At the end, veer left and then straight right into Rue du Monastère. About 700m further on, at the roundabout, go straight ahead.
(4) About 200m further on, turn left onto the path opposite Avenue André Renard, which leads to a small triangular square. Continue straight ahead and, at the dead end, take the small path lined with two hedges. At the end of the path, turn right onto Avenue Boulogne Billancourt until you reach the small roundabout.
(5) Take the path on the right which leads into the countryside of Profondsart. At the end of this path, turn left onto Rue des Jardins and continue to the railway bridge.
(6) Just before the bridge, turn left onto Rue de Rofessart, which runs alongside the railway line to the station car park (S/E).
