This trail takes you on a journey from the Palaeolithic era to the Baroque period.
It leads past the source of the Schussen (a natural monument) to Steinhausen and the “most beautiful village church in the world”.
On the way back, the route passes a wayside shrine dedicated to Our Lady of the Mantle on the way to the Franzosengrab.
The monastery complex makes for an impressive end to the walk.
