South Side of Edale

Description of the walk

(S/E) Follow track east past Methodist Church. After crossing Railtrack follow the track as it turns southwest (left). Continue on track as it turns northwest (right).

(1) Turn east (right) to join The Pennine Way.

(2) Follow road south (right) through Grindsbrook, refreshments and information centre here.

(3) Take footpath west (right) beside Peak Centre Follow path southwest (left) towards rail track.

(4) Cross rail track south via the bridge. Follow the path southwest (right) past Old Dairy to start.(S/E)

It was a good walk for a meet-up with my Grandchildren. Just the right length as they are only five and eight.
