At the start of the walk, there are picnic tables.
During the walk, you will come across a wash house (Villeneuve) on the route and another off the route (Civrais) 150 m north of point (7).
As with any walk, even an easy one, you should wear suitable footwear.

Worth a visit

In the village stands the 15th-century fortified castle of Cherveux and its keep, which is open to visitors at certain times of the year.
A lake situated between Cherveux and Saint-Christophe-sur-Roc offers all sorts of outdoor activities during the summer months.

A pleasant route that avoids the ‘tricky’ bits of other walks in the area.
The hamlets you pass through boast some lovely traditional architecture worth seeing.

An interesting route along narrow roads through the region’s typical hamlets and paths running alongside numerous streams. The distance and elevation gain are quite reasonable.
