A lovely 2-hour ride at a walk and trot, including a section on a country road (at a brisk pace), suitable for experienced riders.

This route can also be done on foot (3 hours), by bike (50 mins), or on horseback (at a walk: 1 hour 30 mins, at all three gaits: 50 mins).

A bit of tarmac, the rest of the paths are very pleasant dirt and grass tracks; this route can also be done by bike.

Enjoyable in both directions.

Description of the walk

Start of Chemin de Fontaine.

(S/E) Take Ruelle de Charon on the right.

(1) Turn right at the end of the grassy path.

(2) Turn left at the end of the grassy path

(3) At the three-way junction, take the path on the right between the trees , though you can also take the path on the left and catch up via the small road – but watch out for the bend.

(4) Take the road on the right and continue straight on to Puisieux.

(5) Turn right onto Rue de Poligny and continue straight on until you reach the D146a3.

(6) Turn right onto the D146a3, don’t linger, make sure you’re visible and keep to the right.

(7) Turn onto the first track on the right.

(8) Turn right at the end of the track.

(9) Turn left at the end of the track and continue straight on until you reach Chemin des Zouaves, then return via Chemin de Fontaine (S/E).
