Description of the walk

Start : Opposite the Lambourn Surgery on Bockhampton Road (RG17 8PS) Grid ref. SU 328 785
Please do not use the surgery car park – this is reserved for patients.

(S/E) From the Lambourn Surgery on Bockhampton Road. Walk up The Classics.

(1) Then take the steps and enter the footpath through a gate. Follow the path across the fields. Meridian Equestrian Centre is on your right slightly up the hill.

(2) When you pop out of the far side of the hedge turn right and follow the field boundary. Turn left along a broad track called White Shute.

(3) At the top of the track turn left again and follow the field boundary back down the slope. Through a gate and along a narrow path.

(4) When you reach Bockampton Road, turn left. After 500m you are back at the start.(S/E)

This walk goes up (and down) several hills and can be slippery underfoot after rain.
