Family walk in the woods. With no difficult sections, this route is also accessible by mountain bike, and the diversity of trails in the area means that you can enjoy many sections in complete solitude with nature. The route follows the marked snowshoe trail no. 2 in the opposite direction, which in winter connects the Auberge de la Glisse (starting point for cross-country skiing) to the Auberge de Malaterre.

Between two well-trodden routes (Pic du Mas de la Grave and Plateau d’Emparis), the Gros Têt and Petit Têt are accessible off-trail via grassy slopes, offering a rare vantage point over the plateau and the Vallon de la Buffe, surrounded by numerous well-known peaks and glaciers, including the Glaciers de la Meije, the Pic Blanc, the Aiguilles d’Arves, the Pic des Trois Evêchés, and others.
