Venerque - Clermont le Fort circular, off the beaten track
This is a walk with two faces: the first part is "aerial", on the right bank, from Vénerque to Clermont-le-Fort, with elevation changes and a landscape stretching as far as the eye can see, along paths that are rarely used (except by trail runners); the second part, on the left bank, is completely "peaceful", winding between the lake, riverbanks and the peaceful neighbourhoods of Le Vernet.
Circular Riverotte in Clermont-le-Fort
A stone's throw from Toulouse, this is a short, easy route with views of the village and the cliff reflected in the pond, or the Ariège waterfalls. The walk takes less than an hour and is almost completely flat, but it can last a long time if you like to "caress the reeds, leaf through the ponds and cry Rimbaud" or simply contemplate the ducks, egrets and herons or picnic with your feet in the water, sun cream at hand.
