Keen walker with with an interest in wildlife, photography and exploring Christian heritage. Took up the Walk1000miles challenge successfully in 2017 and doing it again in 2018. Walking the Cornish Coast Path in stages, enjoy the Lakeland Fells and will explore other parts of the UK. I am particularly interested in discovering the hidden delights of my home county and sharing that with others.

This is a good walk at any time but really good in spring when the bluebells are out in Badby Woods and butterflies are exploring the hedgerows. The route passes through some scenic Northamptonshire villages and includes small stretches of the Nene and Knightley Ways.
