This is a very rich hike in terms of the diversity of its route, relief and views, types of paths, undergrowth and stubble biotopes, and beech forests. Not to mention the magical Lac des Perches seen from below... Moderator's note: the Blue Disc marked trail between (1) and its junction with the Yellow Chevalet (Steinweg) trail is closed to the public and should not be used as an alternative to the Yellow Chevalet trail.
