A hike of moderate physical difficulty along the steep paths of the Ardèche Hautes Cévennes, offering incredible views over the Volane valley. A magnificent, vertiginous section requires caution but also calls for silence to minimise disturbance to nesting birds. The mid-mountain forest cover and refreshing stops by the streams make it very pleasant in summer.
