A beautiful circular hike from Passy in a rugged environment with a remarkable summit overlooking the Arve valley. The wild and vertiginous crossing from the Aiguille de Varan to the Désert de Platé is quite unforgettable. The hike can be split into two by staying overnight at the Refuge de Varan. This hike should not be attempted in uncertain weather or foggy conditions.

A beautiful loop to a little-known peak between Aravis and Beaufortain, particularly scenic. The climb is steep but the return loop via the little Croisse Baulet is enchanting, like a balcony with exceptional views of the Mont Blanc massif. It can get a little crowded on the way back as it can be reached in an hour from the Jaillet cable car.

A pretty, varied loop that starts off rural, then becomes airy, then vertiginous, then wooded. The views from the Prarion ridge are particularly beautiful over the entire Mont Blanc massif. The descent to the Col de la Forclaz is a little vertiginous (with cables in places) but not difficult.
