A route around Albé, passing the memorial to the American aviator Bradford Wikholm, with lovely views over the Villé Valley – a pleasant route with a few gentle climbs that are perfectly manageable. The main challenge lies in the distance. You can stop for a bite to eat at the Col du Kreuzweg, at the Parc Alsace Aventure, during opening hours. This is roughly halfway along the walk. You can also take the opportunity to make a short detour via the centre of Villé.
