A short walk offering a variety of landscapes, including woodland, peat bogs and lakes, with superb views of the surrounding mountain ranges. This route includes some very easy sections but also a few short climbs along sunken paths, which in places have been fitted with long staircases and wooden footbridges.

This short walk allows you to enjoy the Velika Planina plateau whilst staying away from the somewhat noisy chairlift route and passing through the mountain chalets. The paths are marked with Red Circles. The vast majority of the route is downhill along easy and very quiet paths. The chalets are truly spectacular and photogenic, but you must pay close attention to the signs – often in Slovenian – which warn of private property boundaries.
