What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the website remember information from one page or visit to the next: that you are logged in, your preferences, or audience measurement.
Managing your choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse, in a single click, the cookies that are not essential to the website. Refusing does not prevent you from using Visorando.
You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you made your choice: click Manage my cookies, a link also available at the bottom of every page. Your choice is kept for 6 months on this device, after which you will be asked again.
If you are logged in, your latest choice is also recorded on your account, with its date, so that we can demonstrate it. It is not applied automatically to your other devices: the choice remains specific to each browser.
You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may however prevent you from logging in to your account.

Audience measurement
Subject to your consent. We measure website traffic and page usage with Matomo, a tool we host ourselves: no data is passed on to third parties or used for advertising. Until you accept, no measurement is sent and none of these cookies is stored. If you withdraw your consent, they are deleted.

Visorando maps and widgets embedded on partner websites, as well as white-label websites, are also measured with Matomo.
Third-party services
The SNCF Connect booking module offered on walk pages is only loaded when you click the public transport button. It is then subject to SNCF Connect's terms.
A few news articles embed YouTube videos, which may store their own cookies when the video is displayed.
On the login and sign-up pages, Google, Facebook and Apple services are loaded so that you can log in with the account you have with them.
