Waypoints
- S : km 0 - alt. 336 m
- 1 : km 0 - alt. 336 m - Locate and follow the footpath opposite the checkpoint crossing the field in a WNW direction. Follow this path for approx 350m to reach an opening in a stone wall. Go through the opening
- 2 : km 0.34 - alt. 350 m - After the opening in the wall locate the well defined track tending NW and follow it across the moorland for approx 225m.
- 3 : km 0.58 - alt. 360 m - After 225m look out for the stone wall visable on our left and the well defined path crossing our route and heading NE .
Take this path heading NE and continue along it for approx 2Km as it becomes Water Stalls Road
- 4 : km 2.81 - alt. 343 m - After approx 2km we reach a road junction we turn right onto High Stones Road and follow it NE for approx 400m. After approx 325m look out for a road joining from the left, continue past this and then take the next left turn onto the road/wide farm track tending N
- 5 : km 3.26 - alt. 325 m - Follow this wide track for approx 300m to reach a well defined path junction, take the right track heading NW
- 6 : km 3.58 - alt. 331 m - Follow this track NE until reaching the T Junction of tracks. Take the left track NW for a short distance, approx 100m to find a track on our right heading NE.
- 7 : km 4.13 - alt. 303 m - Take this path NE and follow it to the road
- 8 : km 4.37 - alt. 268 m - At the road turn left onto Long Causeway and follow it NW for approx 225m to reach Old Crib Campsite
- E : km 4.58 - alt. 268 m - Old Crib Campsite end of day 1
