- 1 : km 5.27 - alt. 19 m - 1. Visit Gloucester Tourist Information Centre/Museum of Gloucester and pick up your trail worksheet, alternatively, press the start now button above to fill out the sheet online. You will find your first book here too.
2. Leave Gloucester Tourist Information Centre/Museum of Gloucester and turn right to visit Gloucester Library where you will find your second book.
3. Cross the road and turn by Jax onto Jennings Walk carry on to Hampden Way where you will find your third book at Shopmobility.
4. At the end of the road turn left and then right by City Cars walk follow the road to the junction and turn left to GL1 Leisure Centre where you will find your book 4.
5. Continue walking through GL1 Leisure Centre pathway turning right past Langley Wellington and right again onto Nettleton Road turn left up Russell Street where you will find the fifth book at Bow Bells Florist.
6. Continue to the end of Russell Street and turn right onto Clarence street, cross the road at Clic Sargent Charity Shop and carry on, turning left onto Kings Square until you reach the Furniture Recycling Project where you will find book 6.
7. Turn Right at costa onto The Oxbode and left down Northgate Street and left again at Hare Lane where the seventh book will be hiding at Ye Olde Restaurant & Fish Shoppe.
8. Take the shortcut via Sacra opposite Ye Olde Restaurant & Fish Shoppe and turn right onto Cathedral Way, you will find your eighth book at the Cathedral entrance
9. Walk through the pathway through the Cathedral garden and head onto College Court to find book 9 and The House of the Tailor of Gloucester.
10. Continue through College Court and find book 10 straight in front at Gloucestershire Arts and Crafts Centre.
11. To the right you will find book 11 at Hooker & Eight.
12. Walking slightly further up Westgate Street you will find book 12 on the left at The New Gloucester Antiques Centre.
13. Continue up Westgate Street and walk to The Cross (where the four gate streets meet) turn right at The Cross and walk down Southgate Street. Turn right at Longsmith Street where you will find the next book hidden at Trapped Escape Rooms.
14. Carry on down Longsmith Street and turn left at Ladybellegate Street turn left at to find book 14 at Blackfriars.
15. Continue down Ladybellegate Street and turn left at Commercial Way towards the CD Rack sculpture and cross the road. Walk down the stairs/slope to Gloucester Docks and turn left towards Gloucester Quays where book 15 will be hiding at Naylor Powell on the left.
16. Turn right for to find book 16 at The National Waterways Museum.
17. Walk left and go up the steps/slope by Wetherspoons and turn right past tank and over the bridge turning left past Gloucestershire college. Continue straight and turn right to follow the path to Llanthony Secunda Priory where book 17 will be hidden.
18. Follow the path back to Sula Lightship where book 18 is hidden.
19. Walk back past Gloucestershire College and back over the bridge and continue straight, turning left at Bills. Walk past Caffè Nero and into Gloucester Quays where you will find book 19 hidden at Gloucester Rugby Shop.
20. Continue the loop around, walking past H & M and exit the Quays, turn right at bills and left at the end of the road, following the path back towards the CD Rack sculpture, cross the road and walk up Southgate Street to find book 20 at Fringe Benefits on the right hand side.
21. Continue straight to Farmhouse Deli to find book 21.
22. Turn right at The Cross on to Eastgate Street, where you’ll find book 22 at Gloucester Guildhall on left.
23. At the end of the street you will find the final book in Eastgate Viewing Chamber.
Congratulations, you have found all of Glossy’s books! Turn right past Boots and back to Gloucester Tourist Information Centre to return your form.
