- S/E : km 0 - alt. 40 m - Start
- 2 : km 0.7 - alt. 37 m - Immediately over the bridge, turn sharp right and bear back on your self towards the river. Follow the path between the river and the church.
- 3 : km 0.79 - alt. 36 m - Do not go through the gate but bear right to follow the riverside tow path.
- 4 : km 1.7 - alt. 35 m - Pass Catteshall Lock, and go through the gate ahead to the road (Catteshall Road.) Turn left along the road.
(There is a cafe at the boathouse by the river on the other side of the road.) - Cafe
- 5 : km 4.42 - alt. 54 m - At the cross roads, turn right by The Cricketers pub. - Pub
- 6 : km 4.51 - alt. 67 m - Walk up the hill (Upper Manor Road) following the left hand pavement and climb the steps to turn left into Shadyhanger.
- 7 : km 4.89 - alt. 69 m - At the end of Shadyhanger, bear left to follow the footpath.
- 8 : km 4.99 - alt. 55 m - Go down the steps and continue to the bottom of the path. Cross the road (Deanery Road) and turn right to follow the roadside path on the other side.
- 9 : km 5.09 - alt. 55 m - Just over the brow of the hill, turn left down the footpath (opposite Frith Hill Road.)
- 10 : km 5.21 - alt. 40 m - At the bottom of the second set of steps, turn right and almost immediately cross the road to follow the informal path that cuts diagonally across the green space.
(The Charterhouse Arms pub is close by on your right.) - Pub
- 11 : km 5.36 - alt. 37 m - At the far side of the green space, cross the road (Borough Road) and turn left to follow the pavement on the other side.
- 12 : km 5.49 - alt. 38 m - As you come out from under the railway, bear right to follow the footpath across the car park.
- 13 : km 5.6 - alt. 36 m - Pass just to the left of the buildings and go straight ahead to cross the river via the wooden footbridge.
- 14 : km 6.21 - alt. 44 m - (There are a number of seats in Crown Court to your left.)
- S/E : km 6.44 - alt. 40 m
