Lanhydrock/Trebyan

This easy, pleasant walk provides a way to discover this magnificent late Victorian country house, following paths in gardens, woods and along the River Fowey.

This easy walk (but with a few steep sections and stiles) mainly uses paths and tracks across Deviock, Quarryhill and Hurstocks woods. You can also see Wheal Glynn mine, an old silver and lead mine in ruins, during this pleasant walk.

This interesting walk mainly in woods provides a way of visiting the impressive Luxulyan Valley Heritage site including Treffry Viaduct, The Wheel Pit or Trevanney china clay kiln.
