Waypoints

  1. S : km 0 - alt. 6 m - Start on
  2. 2 : km 0.05 - alt. 10 m - Keep right
  3. 3 : km 0.19 - alt. 12 m - After parking you may like to take a detour to see the Blue Lagoon. This was once a small slate quarry but now the sea has flooded the inlet. It gets its hue from the minerals in the slate. The adventurous use it for activities such as coasteering and diving. Think about the activities you find energising and inspiring. Plan to do more of them.
  4. 4 : km 0.29 - alt. 6 m - Turn sharp right
  5. 5 : km 0.7 - alt. 29 m - Turn right
  6. 6 : km 0.84 - alt. 17 m - Turn right
  7. 7 : km 2.61 - alt. 8 m - Turn slight right
  8. 8 : km 2.69 - alt. 28 m - Turn sharp left
  9. 9 : km 2.7 - alt. 28 m - Turn slight left
  10. 10 : km 5.11 - alt. 74 m - Wonder at the amazing rocks and peaks before you. Such sights draw us in to ponder at the works of creation and the work of the Creator. Carn Llidi and Carn Penberi are mountains in miniature 181m/594ft adn easily accessible to the 'mountain bagger'. However, beware of the rocky outcrop at the summit as it's not what you expect! There are many things in life that we think we can attain without too much troublebut sometimes we or others have unrealistic expectations. How do you ensure that you, and others you love, keep realsitic expectations?
  11. 11 : km 5.5 - alt. 109 m - Turn slight left
  12. 12 : km 5.63 - alt. 99 m - Keep right
  13. 13 : km 7.45 - alt. 38 m - Turn left
  14. 14 : km 7.88 - alt. 121 m - Turn slight right
  15. 15 : km 7.97 - alt. 120 m - Turn right
  16. 16 : km 7.97 - alt. 120 m - Turn right
  17. 17 : km 8.02 - alt. 116 m - Keep left
  18. 18 : km 9.17 - alt. 49 m - Turn slight right
  19. 19 : km 10.43 - alt. 48 m - Where the road goes over the River Alun marks the spot where pilgrims travelling in the same direction as you would wash their feet before entering the cathedral. This action was a sign of their prayer of repentance and their hope for a new start. Bathe your feet in the river or drop a stone into the water and ponder the idea of letting go of all the wrongs of the past and looking foward with renewed hope for the future.
  20. 20 : km 10.64 - alt. 43 m - Turn right onto Pen Rhiw
  21. 21 : km 10.82 - alt. 28 m - Turn slight right
  22. 22 : km 10.97 - alt. 26 m - You have completed the pilgrimage and arrived at your destination, St Davids Catherdal. You have walked in the steps of thousands of people before you who journeyed here in the footsteps of St David who in turn was journeying through life in the footsteps of Christ. You have journeyed with David's God and ours to a place of holiness and peace. Take time to experience that holiness and peace in this sacred place.
  23. 23 : km 11.09 - alt. 26 m - Turn slight left
  24. 24 : km 11.14 - alt. 24 m - Turn sharp left
  25. 25 : km 11.22 - alt. 27 m - Turn left
  26. 26 : km 11.25 - alt. 29 m - Keep left
