  3. 3 : km 0.77 - alt. 1,052 m - Turn sharp right onto Prince Edward Street
  4. 4 : km 1.09 - alt. 1,053 m - Turn left onto Prince George Street

  7. 7 : km 2.83 - alt. 967 m - Follow the Braeside Walk (firetrail at this stage) until you come to a sign pointing to Evan's lookout with a single track heading down some steps. Take the single track which will follow Govetts brook.
  8. 8 : km 6.34 - alt. 978 m - At the next junction follow the track straight until you reach the lookout. Turn right onto the Cliff Top Track and follow this track all the way to Evans Lookout. Evan's lookout is a great place for a break/lunch and there are drop/bush toilet facilities available (no other toilets on the walk!) At the lower end of Evans lookout follow the sign to the Grand Canyon track (turn right)
  9. 9 : km 6.4 - alt. 969 m - Once you have reached the Grand Canyon track at Evan's Lookout, simply follow the signs all the way through the Canyon and back up to Neate's Glenn Carpark
  10. 10 : km 10.79 - alt. 1,011 m - Once you have reached Neate's Glen Carpark, turn right and follow the single track that runs right next to the road (Evans Lookout Road)
  11. 11 : km 11.41 - alt. 1,003 m - Once you reach a clearing with a large powerline tower, cross onto the other side of Evans Lookout Road and take the firetrail (don't worry about the private property sign, the firetrail is public access as long as you don't veer left into the eco lodge). The firetrail will have a sign pointing left into to Haywood Gully (this is a parallel direction to the powerline tower on the other side of the road) and you will be able to see a large section of the trail in front of you and across the horizon. Keep walking on this trail.
  12. 12 : km 12.22 - alt. 1,016 m - Keep following the firetrail, you will see a sign pointing straight that says 'Braeside', follow this trail
  13. 13 : km 12.92 - alt. 972 m - At the next intersection, turn left
  14. 14 : km 13.27 - alt. 998 m - You will reach a gate at the next intersection, turn sharp right (slight downhill). Follow this firetrail all the way until you reach the sign for the single track to Evans lookout that we went down on the way to the Canyon. Now follow the fire trail up and back the same way that we came from Blackheath Station.
  15. 15 : km 13.8 - alt. 967 m - Turn slight left onto Braeside Road
  16. 16 : km 14.88 - alt. 1,042 m - Turn left onto Braeside Street
