- 1 : km 0.17 - alt. 23 m - Go to Dukes Drive and walk up the Drive, alongside the school field, until you come to a path on the left, marked by a yew tree with a hole in it.
- 2 : km 0.76 - alt. 30 m - At the yew tree, turn left and follow the path to Eaton Road, facing the former Greenbank college, a rather grand looking building.
- 3 : km 1.27 - alt. 22 m - Turn right, crossing the road as you do, and walk approximately a quarter of a mile to a gate on your left.
- 4 : km 1.79 - alt. 13 m - Go through the gate and walk down to the riverside.
- 5 : km 1.9 - alt. 5 m - Keeping the river on your right, follow the paths, all the way to the meadows.
- 6 : km 4.44 - alt. 6 m - After about 1.5 miles, ust before the river bends, take the path to your left and cross the meadowsm
- 7 : km 4.93 - alt. 10 m - Exit the meadows onto Elizabeth Crescent and follow this round until you come to Edinburgh Way.
- 8 : km 5.31 - alt. 16 m - Turn left onto Edinburgh Way.
- 9 : km 5.41 - alt. 15 m - Turn right onto St George's Crescent, but veer right onto Meadow's Lane.
- 10 : km 5.55 - alt. 18 m - Turn left down Cross Hey.
- 11 : km 5.73 - alt. 16 m - Turn right onto Appleyards Lane and follow this all the way to Eaton Road.
- 12 : km 6.33 - alt. 20 m - Cross at the traffic lights, and go through the college.
- 13 : km 6.7 - alt. 21 m - Turn left on Old Wrexham Road, and return to school. Well done, you've walked over 4 miles.
