Quick refreshing Walk into Iniscarn Forest to Slieve Gallion and back.

Randalstown Forest is a mixed conifer forest that contains an owl conservation centre, Deer Park, and several walking routes, with two small adjacent Nature Reserves at the forest edge on the shores of Lough Neagh.

Reas Wood extends along part of the shore of Lough Neagh. It is a great example of a wet woodland and has a rich diversity of wildlife to see. The path will eventually form part of the Lough Neagh Cycle Way.

The route circumvents the 50 acre Gallaher Limited site in Galgorm, Ballymena through fields and a riverside path.

Drumnaph Community Nature Reserve consists of a mix of habitats and three walking trails to choose from. The Woodland Trust owns approximately 80 acres of Drumnaph Wood, which is located to the eastern side of the reserve. This section contains both ancient woodland and newly planted woodland as well as some wetland habitats.

In early 2012 an opportunity arose to secure the purchase of an additional 130 acres in the western section of the reserve, which includes a patchwork of ecological habitats including ancient woodland, wildflower meadows, ancient grazing habitats and wetlands.

This is a walk along the towpath of the Coalisland Canal. The Canal was opened in 1789 to bring coal from Coalisland to Dublin via the River Blackwater, Lough Neagh and Newry Canal. Coalisland acted as an inland port with lighters carrying grain for the mills and provisions for the surrounding towns.

Covering an area of 12 acres People's park boasts a modern well-equipped children’s playground, toddler area, floodlit tennis courts and bowling green. The Pavillion and outside decking around the edge of the dam offers a safe focal point to view the ducks and swans.
