The route starts from the village of Domeyrat. It can be reached via the D206. Parking is available in front of the old school.
(S/E) Turn right without crossing the railway bridge, then take the path on the left which runs alongside the railway and leads directly to the hamlet of Domarget.
(1) Cross the bridge over the railway line and then turn immediately right to descend towards the Senouire, which you cross via a footbridge. Continue along the path that runs alongside the river, then turns right away from it, until you reach the level crossing.
(2) Carefully cross the railway line and, opposite the small house, take the path on the right that runs alongside the railway line for a few dozen metres before turning left. Climb up to an intersection.
(3) Ignore the path on the left, go straight ahead and shortly afterwards leave the path on the right. Follow the path that runs alongside the Senouire and joins Doneyrat at the Route de Séneze (D206).
(4) Turn right to enter the village. Note the stones and lintels of the houses, some of which come from the castle.
(5) Turn right to cross the Romanesque bridge and go up the street. Make a detour to see the Church of Saint-Roch, then return to the car park (S/E).
