Ideal for learning to ride a mountain bike, this ride, high above the resort, takes you to the hamlet of La Colle, the starting point for the walk to the marmot site, home to the Alps’ iconic animals. The route begins on a tarmac road and continues along a dirt track.

The route starts from the Valberg Golf Club car park.
(S/E) Continue along the Route de la Colle to reach the Saint-Jacques Chapel.
(1) Continue on to the Col de l'Espaul.
(2) Take the track on the left and continue to the hamlet of La Colle, at marker no. 8.
(3) Turn back and return via the same route to the Valberg Golf Club car park (S/E).
At the Valberg Golf Club, you will find a restaurant, and there is a drinking fountain in the Col de l'Espaul car park.
The route is a return trip, with no technical difficulty, and involves little elevation gain.
