Take the D918 to Ibarrun and park in the car park by the pelota court.
(S/E) Take Rue Igel (Igel Karrika), which runs alongside the pelota court towards the south-east and then makes a circular loop to the left to join the D918.
(1) Turn right with care onto the D918 until the first bend. Turn right to cross the Nivelle, then right again to follow it along Chemin de Zaldubia. Pass Kanderatzea and keep left at the two successive junctions.
(2) Leave the tarmac road and continue straight ahead on the track until you reach an inverted Y-junction.
(3) Turn right towards the west for about 150 m, then right again towards the north-west. The track turns sharply left to reach a triangular junction.
(4) Turn right and then left at the next junction. Then follow the widest track, which continues to the right and winds up the hill.
(5) Turn left and, at the start of the next bend (not shown on the map), veer right. When you reach a junction, turn right again to head back north. Pass in front of Aroztegia farm and cross the Nivelle again over a pretty Roman bridge.
(6) Turn right to return to the car park (S/E).
