Gilhac-et-Bruzac: for lovers of wild mountain landscapes
Not for those allergic to tarmac!
A pleasant and varied hike, some sections of which follow small tarmac roads, as is often the case in the Ardèche. The first part takes place in the forest, where only birdsong disturbs the peace and quiet of the area. The second part follows theGR®42andGR®42Btrails, offering beautiful views of the Ardèche mountains, the Vernoux valley and the Rhône valley.
Pierregourde Castle is very close to this circuit.
The wind turbines of Saint-Georges-les-Bains via the Hameau des Entreilles
This route offers beautiful views of the Rhône Valley, the Vercors, the Glandasse and the Grand Veymont, then leads to the foot of the Planèze wind turbines and ends with the discovery of a charming collection of animals carved into the rocks.

Balcons de l’Ouvèze, right bank, from Coux to Le Pouzin
A superb walk from Coux to Le Pouzin, passing through the terraces overlooking the Ouvèze valley on the right bank – the Plateau des Gras. A short stretch of tarmac towards the middle of the walk, but nothing too troublesome.
(!) You’ll need two cars: leave one in Le Pouzin for the return journey and drive to the Coux cemetery in the second car – it’s about a 15-minute drive.
