Park in the car park of the Monceaux town hall, located near the D103.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, turn left onto Chemin de la Mairie. Continue straight ahead.
(1) At the end, turn left onto Chemin de l'Église (note the Haras des Monceaux stud farm on your right).
(2) At the foot of Saint-Michel Church, turn sharply left and descend into a valley on a covered path. Cross the Ruisseau des Monceaux stream and climb up the other side. At the crossroads (elevation 153), go straight ahead.
(3) Return to the tarmac road and continue straight ahead. At the next crossroads, at Lieu Hauton, turn right. Soon, at the end of the small road, continue straight ahead on a path. Ignore the access roads to private properties on the right.
(4) You will come out onto the D511; follow it to the right. After about 250 m, at a three-way junction, turn right onto a small road.
(5) Pass the entrance to Haras des Bruyères on your left and continue straight ahead along a path. Descend into a wood and Lieu Canu. When you reach Place de la Mairie, turn right and you will immediately come to a T-junction (entrance to Notre-Dame Church on your left).
(6) Follow Chemin de la Vallée to the right. Stay on this tarmac road until it ends.
(7) Then turn right onto a grassy path. Soon turn left with the path and continue north.
(8) In front of the Bruyère farm, turn left towards the bottom of the valley. Cross a stream by stepping on stones and branches. Continue along the path and return to Saint-Michel Church.
(2) Follow the outward route in reverse to return to the car park at Les Monceaux Town Hall (S/E).
