Description of the walk

Start: The Helix car park (Free). Grid ref. NS 903 815

(S/E) From the car park, walk to its Nothern end and keep walking along the paved towpath with the canal on your left-hand side. Keep walking along this footpath as it curves left (North) and you can see the two horses! You can't miss them.

(1) After enjoying the view and maybe a snack, walk past the visitor centre to see the miniatures. Then walk along the towpath again.

(2) This time just after the car park, turn left to cross the pedestrian crossing and reach the boardwalk. Walk along the boardwalk to enjoy a little pond on your left to reach back to the car park where you started. (S/E)

You can extend your walk straight to reach the Great Lawn, Helix Lagoon, and a great playground area!
