Strickeen Mountain

This walk takes you to Strickeen Mountain, which offers a magnificent 360° panoramic view of the entire valley. The ascent to Strickeen is steady and the path is well-marked, making it accessible to any average hiker. It can be very windy at the summit, and a bit muddy on the final stretch to the top, so please wear suitable clothing. This hike can be an additional option to the Gap of Dunloe, as the first part is shared by both routes.
