Soufrière (la) walks

This hike takes you to La Soufrière, the highest point in Guadeloupe and a dormant volcano. In good weather, the view is magnificent. At the summit, you can truly appreciate the power that lies beneath your feet. Please note that a large section of this trail is currently closed due to the risk of rockfalls and increased volcanic activity.

Climb the Vieille Dame via the traditional route and return via the Col de l'Échelle, then finish the hike with a nice hot bath at the Bains Jaunes. Please note that a large section of this route is currently closed due to the risk of rockfalls and increased volcanic activity.

A demanding hike on the slopes of La Soufrière, combining volcanoes, spectacular landscapes and historical discovery with the DC-3 wreck. The section leading to the wreck is the most complicated, very muddy and technical, requiring balance and endurance, while the rest of the route is more accessible. This hike is not suitable for non-athletes or those unaccustomed to challenging terrain, but it offers incredible views and unique memories for those who dare to venture there.
