Start: Free car park at the end of Church Road.
(S/E) From the car park North end, walk downhill on the paved path. As you reach a 5-ways path junction with an information board, go straight ahead following "To Ruffey lake circuit". At the T-junction turn left.
(1) Walk past the bench at the junction keeping left. Do not cross the bridge but carry on walking West to cross a bridge following the stream on your right-hand side. On the way, either way, take the footpath right or the main path as they reach back the same point further on.
(2) At the path junction with an information board keep straight (or right hand) still handrailing the stream on your right. At the next junction, ignore the bridge right and keep straight around the lakeside. On the way, find a bench and viewpoint on the lake on your right.
(3) At the junction turn right to cross the bridge and find a viewing platform. As you reach the end of the bridge at the T-junction turn right. At the next junction keep straight along the lakeside. On the way, enjoy the view from the viewing platform over the lake then carry on uphill.
(5) At the junction keep right up hill past the bench and water fountain. You now walk among pine trees. Carry on down around the lake on the gravel path. When you reach the next junction, keep straight ignoring the bridge on the right. Keep walking with the stream on your right hand on the paved path. Then uphill and at the junction turn right. Walk downhill to cross a bridge and reach back the junction you came from at the start at the waypoint .
(1) Turn left and take the same way back to the car park. (S/E)
