Start : Gortin Glen Forest Park car park (BT79 7SU) Grid ref. NV 620 447
(S/E) Exit Gortin Glen Forest Park car park following the South-Westerly path back to the access road. Turn right (North-West) and follow the access road back to the entrance of the park. Turn left (South-West) onto Glenpark Road (B48) then cross the road and turn first right onto Lisnaharney Road.
(1) Walk along Lisnaharney Road for 2.1 Km. This will take a North-West direction to begin and then swing West and then North-West again. Take care along this road as there are no footpaths.
(2) At the 5th road junction on the right hand side, leave the road and walk right (North-West) uphill along the Lisnaharney public right of way for 425m or so. This is clearly sign posted.
(3) The track will continue North-East where the road turns east into a farm, continuing straight ahead through the wooded area. On exiting the wooded area, continue in a Northerly direction uphill,
(4) When you reach the highest point on the walk, the path will swing around the hill to the right and then to the left before turning North again. Enjoy the views and then descend the hill.
(5) When you reach the crossroads at Liscabble Road, turn left and then walk along this road (West) for 700m.
(6) Turn left onto Droit Road/Eskeradooey public right of way. This path leads South to the top of the hill
(7) At the highest point on the walk, look to your right to see Ballynatubbnit Mountain and the Robbers Table. Then continue following the road Sourthwards and left as it descends back to the Lisnaharney Road.
(8) On reaching the road turn left (East) and retrace your steps passing at the waypoint (2) and (1) along the way (about 3.2 Km) back to the car park at Gortin Glens Forest Park car park (S/E).
