Start: at the end of Drève des Chasseurs in Waterloo. GPS: "Drève des Chasseurs 139 - 1410 Waterloo".
Small car park with 5–6 spaces near No. 139, or you can park further along the lane.
(S/E) Follow Drève des Chasseurs to the end, cross over the railway line and, in Flemish territory, join Varkensdreef (Drève des Cochons) until you reach the first junction.
(1) Ignore the path branching off to the right and continue straight on to the next junction.
(2) Turn right onto Lange Dreef (Long Drive) and follow it for about 200 m.
(3) Turn left onto Elzenbosweg (Alder Path).
(4) Take the Ezelsweg (Donkey Path) on the right, which leads to the small but no less pleasant Kwadebeek nature reserve.
(5) Turn right onto Hof-ten-Hout and head for the alternative starting point, located at No. 5 Rue Eikenbos, in Rhode-Saint-Genèse.
(6) Turn back to the previous junction.
(5) Continue straight ahead.
(7) At the junction, continue along Hof-ten-Hout to the left. A lovely path through a wooded area.
(8) At the bend, continue left onto Hof-ten-Hout and keep going straight on until you reach the junction you have already passed.
(2) Head straight ahead and return to the starting point via the reverse route of the outward journey (S/E).
