Description of the walk

Small car park available at the starting point.

Bring a good pair of hiking boots or trail running shoes, as there are some slippery sections.

This applies both in winter with snow and ice and in summer with small gravel.

Safety precautions should be taken at the few road crossings.

Thanks to Visorando, I had an hour and 20 minutes of pure joy. The weather helped, but I really enjoyed this walk because, thanks to the route map, I didn’t get lost. The scenery around Charleroi and the surrounding area is fabulous, and the walk is accessible – there are signs warning you if the path is a bit uneven or if the slope might be slippery!
