Start next to the bus terminal on a tarmac road, which you leave to head up a small path on the right.
You’ll soon reach an unremarkable chapel and turn off to the right. A little further on, ignore the path branching off to the right and take the one on the left. There’s a lovely view of the terraced fields, then of Vati beach, which you won’t be descending to.
You’ll come to a road, which you’ll leave by turning left, with a view of Fikiada Bay (1) before reaching the beach with no beach hut (2).
You leave the beach via a path that cuts through a desolate, abandoned olive grove and past these ruined buildings. Don’t be tempted by the gap in the low wall opposite you; instead, head diagonally to your right to climb over the wall, then quickly cross over the wall again to the left.
The path then runs along the coast past some beautiful red rocks (3), and after a steep climb, you’ll come upon Platis Gialo Bay (4).
Partially return along the route you set out on.
