Omawete, Coopers Knob

Start: Park in the small car park, which can accommodate a dozen of cars or so.

(S/E) Follow the road down to find a path on the left at the edge of a wood.

(1) Turn left onto this small path through the undergrowth, which climbs up with a few uneven steps. Leave the undergrowth and cross a fence using the stile. Keep the fence on your right until you pass another fence. Continue along this well-marked path until you reach a junction.

(2) Turn right to have the new fence on your left. At the corner, fork right and follow the well-marked path to Omawete summit.

(3) After enjoying the view, go back down to the previous path junction along the same path.

(2) Then, continue straight ahead before turning left onto a good path that crosses an area of yucca plants. After a few bends, you reach the road.

(4) Turn left to reach the reach back the car park. (S/E)
