This walk has fantastic views but has an uphill start which may require a few rest stops. If on a summer weekend, you may be able to go up Beckford’s Tower. It soon joins the Cotswold Way and visits the famous Prospect Style with a useful topograph. The start and end is at a riverside pub called the Boathouse, and a bus Park & Ride.

The walk starts and ends in the Park & Ride car park. It is also possible, with permission, to use the Pub Boathouse car park if you are staying there or having lunch. You have to register your car registration number inside the pub. This lasts about 4 hours, so when you return for lunch you will have to register again.
Initially the walk is uphill, but later you will have magnificent views across miles of countryside.
The views are fantastic, and if you go on a summer weekend the tower may be open.
