Departure from the car park in the village centre opposite the church.
(S/E) Head towards Marcolès (D51) for about 100 m.
(1) Continue on the D51 for 500 m.
(2) Turn right onto the track after the cemetery, which runs alongside a pine forest, skirts meadows dotted with large round stones and descends to a stream.
(3) Cross it and then climb back up, passing an isolated house called "Maison Rouge" and its pretty bread oven. Follow this shady forest path to the junction with the D66 road.
(4) Take this road on the right for about 1.2 km.
(5) In the village of Le Bruel, continue along the D66 road towards Calvinet for 630 m.
(6) Turn right onto the road signposted Bousquet.
(7) At the bend, take the dirt track on the right that runs alongside the forest (do not go into the forest) and descends to a house by a pond and then to the Bourg mill. Go back up to the village via the only small tarmac forest road.
(8) At the crossroads, follow the road on the right towards the village of Saint-Antoine, which offers a beautiful view of the Cantal mountains.
(9) Return to the car park via the grassy path on the left (Impasse de la Fontaine).
(S/E) Head towards Marcolès (D51) for about 100 metres.
(1) The second part of the route initially follows the blue markings of the hike called Chemin des Sources. Take this path on the left in the village towards Marcolès.
(10) Follow the main stony path that descends along the edge of the forest on your right. The path then becomes a pretty single track that follows a small stream (on your right) to a road.
(11) Do not take the small white bridge, but take the road on the left as indicated by a discreet blue mark. From this point, the blue markings disappear and you must continue along the small road to the hamlet of Lascombes.
(12) Take the road on the left and follow it to the village. At the bend, a poorly maintained path appears: a historic processionary path lined with stone walls. Follow it to the church and turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
