Description of the walk

Start: Park at the Stirling Point car park.

(S/E) Take the path at the end of the car park and after a few meters turn right up the stairs and onto the path.

(1) Pass the old observation point for the gun battery above. Continue along this path, first ignoring a path to the right which joins a car park and then a path to the left which leads downhill. Stay on this good path.

(2) Pass the former radar site, then carry on to reach the car park at the summit. Cross the entire car park and climb the spiral ramp to the summit platform. Go down the ramp and, at the car park, find the path back down.

(3) Take the stairs and continue downhill until you reach the slope and Foveaux path.

(4) Check out the view, then follow the coastal path, Foveaux path, keeping the sea on your right.

(5) At the junction, stay along the sea, enjoying the views, and reach the Stirling Point car park. (S/E)
