Departure from the Parc de Lormoy car park, on the edge of the D46.
(S/E) From the car park, walk along the Saint-Michel pond on your left.
(1) At the end of the basin, at the intersection, take the path on the left. After about 100 metres, take the bridge on the right. At the end of the bridge, turn right and, at the intersection about 100 metres further on, continue straight ahead.
(2) At the next intersection, continue straight ahead and follow the Orge River on your right until you reach the D25. Cross the road, cross the Orge River and immediately turn left (north) onto the path that runs alongside the river. Follow the Orge River until you reach the next bridge.
(3) Take the bridge on the left. At the end of the bridge, turn left and then immediately right to follow a stadium. At the end, turn left and continue for about 100 metres, then turn right (Rue de l'Orge). At the end of the street, follow Rue Jean Jaurès on the left. Pass three intersections on the right and take the fourth (Rue de la Seigneurie).
(4) At the fork, take the left-hand road (Chemin des Chartières). Continue straight ahead until you reach Rue de Verdun, turn right, then immediately left onto Chemin de l'Avenir. Follow this road for 200 metres until you reach a stone wall.
(5) Turn left, following this wall along the edge of the forest. Continue until you reach the houses and turn right onto Rue du Lavoir. Follow this street to the left for about 100 metres. At the intersection, turn right onto Rue de la Source. At the next intersection, turn left onto Rue de Longpont. Take the first right (Allée du Colombier). Continue through a housing estate and take a narrow road opposite until you reach Rue de la Tourelle.
(6) Follow Rue de la Tourelle to the left for about 50 metres and take the first right (Voie des Roches). At the end of this road, turn left (Rue de Paris) and, 200 metres further on, turn right (Chemin de la Croix Rouge Fer).
(7) At the next crossroads, take the first left (Rue du Champ de Bataille) until you reach the Longpont Basilica.
(8) Pass behind the basilica on the right-hand side and continue straight ahead down the path between the meadows to return to the path you took on the way there.
(2) Turn right and follow the path for about 100 metres. At the first intersection, take the path on the right to go around the Saint-Michel basin on the right. At the end, take the bridge and turn right to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
