The starting point is at the end of the A821 road, just past East Lodge, on the southern shore of Loch Venachar. A cycle path starts there. There are two car parks on the left: choose the second one, which has 12 spaces.
A circular route around Loch Allt a’ Chip Dhuibh and Loch Venachar from East Lodge
Most of the walk is along a good track and ends at cycle path no. 7. There is also a faint path running beneath a power line, which is poorly marked in summer due to tall vegetation.
